Oculus Red Filters for GoPro Hero Camera |

The Oculus replacement flat lens has been designed for use with the GoPro HERO Camera housing to enhance your footage underwater without having to unscrew the housing to install a lens and correct blurry video quality as a result of the standard supplied domed lens underwater for GoPro Hero1 and 2.
Constructed of thick high grade laminated optical plastics, the Oculus lens is an affordable solution to enhance picture quality of GoPro HERO camera underwater footage. While the Oculus works best with R5 mode at 1080p it will work at lower resolutions but their wider FOV angles will catch the corners of the lens in the frame requiring cropping to be done with a video editing software. For using new Oculus red filter flat len in GoPro Hero 2, you will need to set the GoPro FOV to Medium to avoid vignetting.
The Oculus lens is an easy swap over that requires no modification to the housing and has been rigorously tested and rated to up to 70 meters / 230 feet for over 60 minutes with no leaks, lens deformation or picture degradation. The rust proof stainless steel screws are the same size and pitch with the standard screws and will not damage the housing threads. Fogging inside the standard domed lens tends to start in the center resulting in a blur. With the Oculus lens fogging is contained in the 4 corners of the middle lens spacer leaving the center clear of any obstruction when the camera heats up underwater. |

| OCULUS Flat Lens + Red Filter + Step Ring |

The Oculus flat lens for GoPro Hero1 and 2 now come fitted with an integrated 46mm and a 52mm step ring adaptor so you can now add on any filter of your choice!
The Oculus flat lens step rings are constructed of anodized aluminium and will fit any aftermarket lens cap. The Oculus flat lens step rings are still vignette free for r5/1080p mode in Hero 1 and r7/1080p mode in Hero 2. You will need to set the GoPro FOV to Medium to avoid vignetting.
