If you are looking for a great vacation in Malaysia with an outback adventure, then we would like to welcome you abroad Outback to Bernam, Perak. You will be flying a plane, and driving an off-road 4X4 into forest. Sounds adventure?

You will kick-off from Subang Skypark and touch down in Segamat Air field in Johor. Your adventure start when you enter the airplane. You will fly with our pilot using the Cessna aircraft. A ground briefing will be conducted before you get airborne. You've just taken the first step toward becoming a new pilot! Flying will open up new worlds and new possibilities. This will be "The High of Your Life" to be part of this exclusive program.

Imagine being a pilot for a day to fly 30 minutes journey and landed inSegamat Air field in Johor; it was a green, breezy and cosy big field! Guaranteed a wonderful short break from the hustle and bustle city!

A four wheel drive (4WD) adventure is one not to be missed. You will be first attending the Land Rover Driving Academy briefing. After finish your off-road driving academy, you will head deeper into the forest. With its rugged terrain and unpopulated plains, it's the perfect place to embark on an off-road adventure.

In addtion, if you want the experience to continue. You can sign up for the two (2) days (1) one night package. In Segamat, you can do something really special for your parents, couple, friends by camp for a night with a plane parking next to your camp OR you want your dinner will be set at runway, with plane parking next to your dinner table as well!

Your adventure continue the next day with flying a plane, 4X4 off-road and heading back to Subang Skypark. You may even switch places with your loved one or families member to let him/her experience being a pilot for a day too! Then you both can share the wonderful feeling of flying a plane together. The outback adventure is a non-stop action pack, fun and memorable for you, your spouse and familes for a lifetime.

NOTE: Always inform someone of your travel plans - especially if you intend to go off the beaten track. Any four wheel drive adventure requires drivers to take necessary precautions to ensure a safe journey. The vehicle will be properly equipped with
a comprehensive tool, technician, puncture repair and first aid kit, as well as sufficient water and food. In the event of a breakdown stay with your vehicle - it is easier to find than an individual.

You will be embark on the jorney into a remote, rugged terrain made for Outback Adventures. The package is design for you to have a real hands on adventure experience while you are travel with our adventure guides. Most of the thing you will be doing it yourself. We are serious about this! Day 1

10:00am	: Meeting at Subang Sykpark Airport

10:30am	: After briefing, depart from Subang to Malacca for stopover & change pilot

11:00am	: Continue journey to Segamat from Malacca

11:30am	: Arrive at Segamat runway & Land Rover Driving Academy briefing

12:30am	: Start journey to Rompin 4x4 Jungle Challenge

1:30pm	: Arrive at Stop 1, riverside for lunch & water activities

3:30pm	: Wrap up & head back to Segamat

4:30pm	: Arrive at Segamat runway. One Day Pilot program - learn how to fly a plane for 30 mins

9:00am	: After breakfast, meet at runway and receive briefing for One Day Pilot

Fitness, Health & Experience:
While good health and a positive mental attitude are essential, you do not need to have prior experience. OXBOLD and our trainers reserve the right to refuse to carry any participants who is deemed to endanger the safe running of the lessons.

Indemnity Form:
Each participant is required to sign an Indemnity Form while participanting in this program.

Security:
Please do not bring any valuable items during the entire program. We are not responsible for valuable item loss during the trip.

By Private Coach
Just inform us which hotel or where you want us to pick up. We will arrange the coach to pick you up and return. Rate differs from the pick-up point and number or people per coach. Please call our Hotline at 6019-6638336 to request for a coach service. The coach or limousine can accommodate 2 persons and up to 40 persons. We also provide pick up from KLIA, LCCT, city hotels and Singapore.

1. What is included in the package?

The itinerary for each tour will indicate inclusions. Unless otherwise indicated, all meals and accommodation, fees and permits are included. Drinks such as water, juices, tea and coffee are included. Alcoholic drinks are NOT included. Some packages have flights and 4x4 off road drive included in the cost, this will be specified.

2. Where do the trips start and finish?

Most trips start and finish in Subang Skypark, Selangor and we pick you up and return from your accommodation in Johor. Departures from Penang, Langkawi, Tioman, Redang and Singapore are possible by prior arrangement.

3. What do the meals consist of?

Breakfast usually consists of cereal, toast, fruit, tea or coffee. Lunch will normally be rice, meat and salad or a selection of sandwiches or wraps. Dinner or BBQ will be served at runway, with plane parking next to your dinner table! We always complimented by the variety, quality and amount served. Our runway meals are considered a highlight of the trip. Catering for vegetarians or people with other special needs is usually not a problem. Please notify us of any dietary requirements when booking the tour.

4. What type of accommodation can I expect?

Accommodation varies considerably. Most of our trips are fully accommodated. Many of the places we travel to have very limited accommodation available. We try to provide a variety of accommodation styles including motel, camp or safari tents so you need your own sleeping bag depend on where you stay.

5. What is the average group size?

We operate for small groups only, and some of our tours operate for a minimum of 6 passengers. Our extended trips have a minimum requirement of 10 passengers, and the average group size is usually 8 to 12 per tour. We can, and do accommodate larger groups when required.

6. I am travelling alone, is this OK?

Passengers travelling alone are welcome, so let us be your travelling partner. Many of our passengers are travelling alone, and many go home with new found friends. You will be joining other group of people in the same trip. However, we only start commence the trip with mimimum 6 passengers. There is an additional single supplement payable on overnight trip if you require a single room.

7. What should I bring?

On our day trip you should have minimum 2 set of clothes, and bring a hat, sunscreen, camera, bottle of drinking water, and suitable footwear. For our longer tours, suitable clothing, sleeping bag if camping, torch, and toiletries. We will provide you with a comprehensive packing list when you make a booking. If you are taking any medication ensure you have sufficient for the duration of the tour.

8. Is there a luggage restriction?

Luggage is restricted to a medium size soft travel bag per person. We would greatly appreciate if you could consider our small aircraft storage compartment when packing and ensure your bag weighs not more than 15kgs, plus hand luggage. Hard frame bags or suitcases are not suitable and will not be loaded.

9. Are there toilets along the way?

Much of our travel is in remote areas, so toilets are few and far between. We stop at toilet facilities every opportunity available, otherwise trees and bushes make a great substitute. We suggest you carry antiseptic hand wipes, and we provide hand soap and water.

10. How much time is spent travelling each day?

The distance we travel each day varies on each trrip. We strive to get a good mix between covering the vast distances in the outback and having enough time to stop and enjoy the experience. There will be a few stops for meals, photos, meeting local characters, getting up close and personal with flora and fauna, and just taking in the scenery. Some of our extended trips have free time just to relax and do your own thing.

11. What am I likely to see along the way?

Varies on the trip, but rest assured we will be looking out for all the wildlife, birds and wildflowers along the way. Our guides are experts on spotting things. We regularly see monkeys, lizards, lots of birds, freshwater snakes, and much more.

12. What is the weather going to be like?

The weather varies considerably during the year and from region to region, but most of all, it can be unpredictable. Check with us prior to departure for updates.

13. What if something goes wrong?

In the unlikely event something does go wrong we have a comprehensive emergency management plan in place. We carry first aid kits. We also carry satellite phones in remote areas to ensure we can make contact with emergency services if needed.

14. What happens if it rains?

Many roads in the outback are unsealed, and rain can sometimes cause road closures. In the unlikely event that this happens we make every effort possible to re-route the trip, but this is not always possible. On very rare occasions we may need to extend our stay in a remote town due to closed roads. We recommend travel insurance to cover any extra costs incurred by you because of this.

15. What sort of vehicles do you use?

We operate three Cessna airplanes, which seat maximum 3 passengers for each airplane. Three Land Rover 4WD vehicles. Our 4WD, one fully covered and two are topless, which seat 4-6 passengers and one for transport all foods, equipment and luggage. Our 4WD vehicles are non air-conditioned and topless and fully equipped for travel in remote areas. Lastly a few unit of Bamboo Rafts.

16. Are the tours suitable for older people?

Our trip are suitable for both the young and the young at heart, age is no limit. We do have clients whose are over 50, usually with a great sense of humour and adventure. You don’t need to be overly fit, but you do need to be in good in health for our adventure trip.

17. Are children welcome on the tours?

We welcome children and family groups on all of our tours. Children above 5 years old are welcome to join our trip.

18. Can I organize a custom made trip?

We are happy to organise a custom made or charter trip for couples or groups, especially those with special interests such as bird-watching, photography, 4WDing or bush-walking. Contact us for ideas or a quote.

20. Do I need travel insurance?

We recommend that you arrange travel insurance to cover any loss or damage to property, cancellation of tour due to unforeseen circumstances or illness or any other eventuality that may result in expenses or loss of income. Please advise us 4 days in advance if you need to purchase insurance from us.

Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Outback Adventure Packages

Liability:
Clients should note that an adventure trip involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the action of clients which are beyond our control. A signed release or Indemnity Form will be required from all participants from OXBOLD instructors, guides and our sports strategy partners.

Responsibility:
OXBOLD pilots, guides and our partners reserve the right to make such alteration to departure and completion dates, reducing the extent of a trip, etc, that we deem necessary due to road, river or weather conditions or other conditions beyond our control including minimum safe running numbers, before and whilst on a trip.

Fitness, Health & Experience:
While good health and a positive mental attitude are essential, you do not need to have prior experience. OXBOLD pilots, guides and our partners reserve the right to refuse to carry any client who is deemed to endanger the safe running of the trip. "Pregnant women will be refused participation".

Indemnity Form:
Each participants is required to sign an indemnity form at the venue before the activity commences.

Insurance:
Rate EXCLUDES the insurance coverage. Please advise our sales people for the insurance purchase.

Payment Condition:

Deposit 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. In case of cancellation, 25% of the deposit will be forfeited. Full/Balance payment to be made in 7 working days prior to departure of trip or every Thursday before 5pm as the cut off date for any booking. Payment should be by cash or cross cheque to OXBOLD bank account. No Refund will be entertained in case of NO SHOW or UN-USED Service without informing OXBOLD in advance with minimum 48 hours before the trip. Postponement notice must be provided by OXBOLD or our sport partner due to bad weather or high water in which high risks is unavoidable, all payment will be transferred to a later date agreed by both parties. Postponement notice from participants must be provided by fax or in writing within 2 working days prior to departure for day trip and 14 working days for multiple days trip to qualifiy for an alternative date. Maximum to one time postpone notice allowed from customers/participants. Insurance payment is non-refundable or transferable. Full refund will be entertained to participant who agreed and bound to our terms and conditions.
Once payment made. Participants will received a Confirmation Letter from OXBOLD. Only booking with confirmation letter consider as VALID booking (Please make sure you receive Confirmation letter once you made the payment).

Cancellation:

Guest must forward a written notice within the following period:

14 (Fourteen) days prior to activity date: Full Refund
7 (Seven) days prior to activity date: Charge 30% from total package amount
2 (Two) days: Non Refundable
Insurance payment is non-refundable.
No show or UN-USED Service, 100% cancellation fee will be imposed.
Guest may have option to change current reserved schedule to other convenience date.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, making it impossible or inadvisable to carry out the activity(ies), we ('OXBOLD') and our partners reserve the right to change to another schedule or cancel the event to our absolute discretion. In such eventuality, upon agreed by both parties. Full refund will be made by 'OXBOLD' to our clients who can't proceed to the next schedule for the said activity(ies).
